return to blogville

I haven't been blogging recently so I figured I would post something today. I have been busy the past month with school so most of my free time has been taken up. It will be one whole month, in counting, until I get a break from school studies. Even though I can't wait until I get my "summer vacation", I'm more excited about getting through June and into July. It just so happens that my favorite holiday, 4th of July, and my birthday are in the same month! I don't do much for the 4th of July because I live in Georgia, one of those anti year-round firework states, and I can't seem to find a firework store or location that I would want to spend money at. Last year, I went to see the fireworks with my family and we had a good view from where we were sitting. The bad part was the wait for the actual show. I had to sit on the hot concrete for hours and listen to no name bands or recorded music I don't like. I was stuck in one location the entire time because I didn't want to lose my spot and it was too crowded to go anywhere. Leaving the firework site was a beast because of the people and car traffic. We had to walk down the street to the parking lot and then we had to find our way to the car. There was bumper to bumper traffic for about an hour and a half. I knew no one was able to go anywhere when I saw people get out of their cars to stretch. Anyways, my birthday is another reason that I want July to hurry up and get here. I'll be 21 this year and no I'll not be out drinking at a bar or night club. I don't want to be 21 to be able to drink but I want to be 21 because I'm tired of being 20. I just like the feeling of knowing that I made it another year and that I'll be that much closer to the next year. It's kind of like my personal New Year's Eve/Day which is usually only celebrated by people born on the same day as me. Anyways, I don't have anything else to blog about right now but I'll be back when I have more to type. This time, I'll end this blog with a phrase from a song that is sung by Daniel Bedingfield and is titled "Gotta Get Through This". "I gotta get through this, I gotta get through this. I gotta make it, gonna make it, gonna make it through. Said I'm gonna get through this. I gotta get through this.... God, God gotta help me get through this."
